Our Story

The Expedient team has over 20 years of experience within the Healthcare Staffing Industry.  In that time, we’ve seen facilities and agencies working closely together to solve the staffing shortages facing hospitals, clinics, long-term, sub-acute and serval other healthcare facilities.  However, over the past 10 years, we’ve seen an influx of companies offering Managed Staffing Programs (MSP) claiming to provide a one-stop shop for facilities, a fair vendor partnership and a faster, more efficient onboarding and placement process for candidates.  Most of these programs failed to deliver, and instead designed to build walls between facilities, vendors and candidates.

Facilites are switching from one MSP to another in hopes of finding a program that actually works in their best interest.  In the past 5 years facilities have switched from one large MSP to another just to realize it was a parrall move, with the same disappointing results.

This is where our story begins.  Our team consist of individuals who were forced in to signing with large MSPs, watched our nursing pools depleted soon after joining their programs, and not being able to directly help our hospital clients that we worked with for over 15 years.   Our team was determined to rebuild the bridge that facilities and agencies once had, by developing a 100% vendor neutral modern tech-enabled Workforce Management platform, and staffing services to ensure every agency with qualified candidates has the opportunity place them quickily where they are needed most.
